Well, I consider persistence a kind of genius. By here, I'm defining
"persistence" as "determination." I mean, not many people
have the concentration and will it takes to succeed and to achieve something. If
you're going to say "genius" as in "smarts"...even that's
not entirely helpful. You could be a genius, but without direction, it's just
wasted energy - nothing gets done.
As for examples...I could give you a personal one...By all accounts, I'm not a
musical prodigy, but when I started the violin, I would literally practice for 8
hours a day. Just play whatever songs I could get my hands on, in competition
with myself. I ended up getting second chair of first section by the time summer
was over, and I joined our middle school orchestra and got into honors district
afterwards, on the bass too. I've considered that to be one of my best
accomplishments, so yeah xd;
